US Economy Outlook and Jobs Report Implications

In this short interview at IG TV we discuss the outlook for the US economy:

  • Slowdown is logical, as cycle change is inevitable.
  • However, the US economy is more dynamic and stronger than the rest of the world.
  • A solid jobs report is expected, but markets continue in “bad news is good news” mode, so a very good report could be seen as a probability of more rate hikes.
  • S&P 5oo results so far have been better than the European ones… But guidance is weak.
