Daniel,
All that you are arguing for would be just fine only if our economic activities, and the financial apparatus behind and in front of them, do not lead head-on to ecological disaster and social injustice. We cannot afford unlimited capitalism, extractivism, and consumerism ANYMORE. We do not need “prosperity” and what you call “better salaries” because we should stop producing and buying consumer goods. ENOUGH! Earth can’t breathe anymore. We need visionaries to tell us how to start de-growth programs without causing conflicts and chaos.
